More About Me

Casey Hardwick is a proud native of Hancock County, having grown up in the towns of Penobscot and Ellsworth. A 1997 graduate of Ellsworth High School, she continues to call Ellsworth home, where she lives with her husband and enjoys time with her grown children and grandchildren.

Casey began her professional career shortly after high school, spending eight years in management at the Bangor Mall, operated by Simon Property Group. There, she oversaw the temporary and seasonal leasing program along with a wide range of administrative duties. After the birth of her third child, she made the decision to work closer to home and joined Bar Harbor Bank & Trust’s Operations Center in Ellsworth.

Real estate runs deep in Casey’s family—her grandparents owned a private real estate company in Bar Harbor, and several relatives work as mortgage loan originators—so it was only natural that she eventually followed that path herself. She earned her real estate license in March 2007 and initially juggled her role at the bank while working with buyers and sellers outside of traditional business hours. In 2011, she made the leap into real estate full-time, providing even greater dedication and flexibility to her clients.

Casey’s commitment to service and results has earned her recognition as an award-winning agent. In 2021, her outstanding success was honored with induction into her company’s coveted Chairman’s Circle, placing her among the top performers in the region.

Known for her honesty, professionalism, and warm, determined nature, Casey works closely with lenders, contractors, attorneys, and fellow agents to ensure smooth and timely transactions. Her clients appreciate her availability, her deep local knowledge, and her willingness to go the extra mile.

When she's not working, Casey enjoys time at the family camp, boating, and swimming with her children and grandchildren.
